5. Open all disconnectors as well as the DC switch inside the
device.
6. Release the locking element on the control cabinet and fold
down the control cabinet.
Maintenance preparations have been completed.
Checking the external area
Damage due to blocked ventilation!
Foreign materials left on the device may block air circulation or
fall into air ways and cause damage.
| Do not deposit foreign materials on the device.
1. Make sure there is air circulation at the fan vents.
2. Check the locking mechanisms on the device and the
interconnected control cabinets or supply units.
3. Examine the housing for discolouration.
4. Inspect the external AC and DC terminal boxes according to the
manufacturer's specifications.
5. Inspect the AC and DC connection cables to the central inverter.
The external area has been inspected.
Checking the internal area
1. Check cable connections for firm jointing.
Replace damaged lines or cables immediately.
2. Check the tightening torques of the screw connections on the
AC and DC connection bars and the PE connection bar.
Conergy IPG 40K–60K tightening torques
The tightening torque for the Allen bolts in the AC and DC terminal
blocks must not exceed 25–30 Nm.

3. Check the copper rails for discolouration and corrosion.
4. Check the device for visible damage, areas of discolouration or
signs of charred or overheated cables and cable connections.
5. Check the device for deposits of dirt and areas of damage
caused by animals (e.g. gnawing damage caused by rodents).
