4. Steaming/Cooking Food
4.1 General information about
steaming/cooking food
The gentle steaming method used to cook food
helps to retain a high level of vitamins within the
food. Steaming allows you to quickly and easily
prepare a fresh and healthy portion of baby
food. Cooking times are derived directly from
the amount of water used in each case. Once
the water has evaporated, the unit switches off
automatically.
In the table below, you will find the quantities of
water required and the associated cooking
times for some basic foods.
