Heated wells are designed for installation in counters or worktops.
They are operated in closed buildings.
Any use other than or beyond this is considered inappropriate. Proper
use also includes observing the instruction manual and the conditions
for inspection and maintenance.
4.2
Improper use
All uses other than the intended one are improper. Improper use of the
heated well may result in damage or injury.
In particular, avoid the following inappropriate operating situations:
Operation without Gastronorm containers or with empty
containers.
Placing objects or food on the glass ceramic plate.
Cleaning stainless steel and glass ceramic surfaces with
abrasive sponges or scouring agent. Aggressive cleaning agents
(such as oven spray) are not suitable either.
Placing objects on the heated well.
Placing objects on the sneeze guard of a heated lamp gantry
when mounted.
4.3
Safety instructions
The appliance may only be used in a technically sound condition, with
risks and safety in mind, for its intended purpose and according to the
operating instructions.
Before each use, the appliance must be checked for any outwardly
apparent damage and defects. If damage occurs, immediately notify
those responsible and switch off the heated well.
Changes or conversions are only permitted after consultation and
written consent from the manufacturer.
4.3.1 Work on the electrical system
Work on electrical systems may only be carried out by
electricians.
The work must be carried out in compliance with the rules of
electrical engineering.
When loading, only use lifting gear and load-bearing equipment which
has been approved for the weight of the heated well.
