| Ensure that the operating manual, and in particular the
safety operatings, are read and understood by the relevant
personnel before installation. If the contents and in
particular the safety instructions and operating instructions
in this operating manual are not observed, the product
warranty and liability for any damage shall be invalidated.
Conergy shall not be held liable for damages arising from a
failure to observe and follow the operating manual, or from
any improper use of the device.
| Ensure that the regulations pertaining to low voltage
directives, local occupational health and safety measures,
and technical specifications are adhered to.
| Ensure that a second person is always present when any
work is performed on live system components or cables.In
the event of an unforeseen electrical accident, that person
must be able to switch off the power supply and provide
aid.
| Ensure that modifications are only performed by Conergy
employees or by persons authorised by Conergy.
Before starting any work on electrical systems, the following
safety rules in accordance with VDE 0100 must always be
followed:
| Disconnect from the mains
| Secure against being switched back on
| Make sure power is disconnected
| Earthing and short-circuiting
| Cover nearby live parts.

Warnings

The warnings used in these operating instructions indicate
information important for safety. They consist of the
following:
| Warning symbol (pictogram)
| Details of the nature and source of the risk
| Information on the possible consequences of disregarding
the risk
| Instructions on what to do to avert the risk and prevent
injuries or damage to property
