Introduction
1.1

Short description

The monitoring system, Conergy SmartControl System, is an
analysis and control system for large photovoltaic systems.
The purpose of the Conergy SmartControl System is to
monitor the operation of a large PV system and minimise the
service expenditure on site.
The Conergy SmartControl System is a system made up of
ideally-matched hardware and software components. It is
composed of:
| ET sensor (irradiation and temperature sensor)
The ET sensor measures the irradiation and the temperature
of the solar modules. This data is used to determine the
required energy generation value of the system.
| Conergy SmartControl
The Conergy SmartControl monitoring unit enables a readout
in respect of the system components through to string level.
The monitoring unit also carries out a setpoint/actual
comparison of the plant's energy generation, precisely
determining the efficiency of the system. The Conergy
SmartControl sends this data to the system monitoring
portal.

The power supply unit supplies the Conergy SmartControl
with electricity.

The system monitoring portal displays data of the PV system
in graphic form - such as system efficiency and yields
obtained from all central inverters.
| Conergy ControlCenter
The Conergy ControlCenter software monitors the whole of
the system as well as individual components. Using the
Conergy ControlCenter software, you can monitor both the
Conergy SmartControl System
