WARNING
Fire risk from bad cable connections!
Bad cable connections can lead to arcing and thus increased
risk of fire.
| Check that all cables are connected correctly and securely.
| Prevent cables from coming into contact with each other.
7. Connect the terminal strip to the Conergy SmartControl
8. Connect the shielding of the connecting cable to PE, for
example, to the equipotential bonding strip.
Depending on the number of monitoring units installed, you
have various Internet connection options.
If using one Conergy SmartControl there are two possible
Internet connection methods:
| Via a telephone cable (analogue) to the telephone
connection
| Via a network cable (with or without switch) to the
Ethernet connection
If using several Conergy SmartControls there is only one
possible Internet connection method:
| Via network cable to the Ethernet connection
Connecting a telephone cable
1. Insert the telephone cable (analogue) into the Tel. port.
CAUTION
Damage to the Conergy SmartControl if the Ethernet and
Tel. connections are interchanged!
If the Ethernet and Tel. connections are interchanged, the
Conergy SmartControl is unable to establish a connection
with the Conergy server and the Conergy SmartControl may
be damaged.
