About this manual

This operating manual covers the hardware components of
the Conergy SmartControl System and the CAN converter.
Details of the system monitoring portal can be found at http:/
/control.conergy.com and of the Conergy ControlCenter in
the integrated Help function of the software.

User group

This instruction manual is intended for an electrical specialist
appointed by the owner/operator. Basic knowledge of the
Internet is assumed for registration with the system
monitoring portal. The Conergy ControlCenter software is
designed for use by technical operators of PV systems.
Knowledge of network technology is required in order to
successfully establish the network connection to the PV
system.

The following aids are used to aid navigation in this operating
manual:
The headers display the heading of the current chapter.
The footers display the name of the product, the name of the
document, and the page number.
The labelling of the LED indicators and the connections is
printed in bold. The names of companies other than Conergy
are printed in italics.
In the illustrations, the individual components of each part
are labelled with item numbers, which are referred to in the
subsequent text. Item numbers are shown in the form (1)
and (2).
Display messages are shown in a different font.
Symbols
Start of a procedure with description of the goal of the
procedure.
Individually numbered steps follow, which may be
interspersed with background information, illustrations, or
warnings.
