All-Purpose Foot (A)
1.
Place two pieces of fabric right sides together and sew a
long straight stitch.

Press the seam open.

With the right side of the fabric facing up, sew the
decorative stitch, making sure the stitches fall on both
sides of the seam.
STRETCH STITCH SEWING
Stretch stitches are strong and flexible and will give with the
fabric without breaking. Good for knit fabrics as well as durable
fabrics like denim or twill.

No. 31 Stem stitch for stretch fabrics
No. 39 Ric-rac stitch
All-Purpose Foot (A)
We recommend that you use a needle for knit and synthetic
fabrics to prevent skipping stitches and thread breakages.
