Use blades suitable for T-shank holder mechanism, as shown on
fig. C.
DUST EXTRACTION
To improve dust extraction from processed material surface, the
jigsaw is equipped with own dust blow-off system, which cleans the
surface being cut. Additionally, it is possible to attach external dust
extraction system to the adaptor. Dust blow-off and extraction system
is more efficient when the guard is lowered.
• Slide adaptor (4) into the dust extraction outlet (5) and turn
counter-clockwise to secure (fig. D).
• Attach suction hose of the dust extraction system to the adaptor (4).
Make sure the connection is tight.
INSTALLATION OF GUIDE FOR PARALLEL CUTTING
Guide for parallel cutting may be installed on either left or right side
of the jigsaw footplate.
• Loosen the edge guide locking screws (9).
• Slide the edge guide bar into holes in the footplate (7), use the
scale to set required distance and fix by tightening the edge guide
locking screws (9) (fig. E).
Edge guide bar should be pointed downwards.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
SWITCHING ON / SWITCHING OFF
The mains voltage must match the voltage on the jigsaw ratings
plate.
Switching on – press the switch button (2) (fig. F).
Switching off – release pressure on the switch button (2).
Locking the switch (continuous operation)
Switching on:
• Press the switch button (2) and hold in this position.
• Press the switch lock button (3) (fig. F).
• Release pressure on the switch (2).
Switching off:
• Press and release the switch button (2).
CONTROL OF JIGSAW OPERATION SPEED
You can control rotational speed of jigsaw motor by turning and
setting the wheel for rotational speed control (1) in desired position.
It allows to adjust the jigsaw working speed to match characteristics
of processed material. Rotational speed control range is 1 to 6.
The higher value is shown with wheel for rotational speed control (1),
the higher is the speed of the jigsaw (fig. G).
BLADE PENDULUM ACTION CONTROL
Besides to-and-fro movement control there is also possibility to set
blade pendulum action level. It allows for better adjustment of the
tool operation parameters to type of processed material. Pendulum
action is controlled in steps with the switch for pendulum action
setting (6) and its range is 0 to III (fig. H). The below table gives the
best choices of pendulum action setting for various materials:
Sheet metal plate, generally:
Sheet aluminium:
Plywood:
Set the switch for pendulum action to 0 when using a knife
blade.
FOOTPLATE ADJUSTMENT FOR BEVEL CUTTING
Adjustable jigsaw footplate allows to make a bevel cut in the range
from 0
0
to 45
0
(to either side).
• Use the hexagonal key and loosen the footplate (7) fixing screws.
• Move the footplate (7) backwards and tilt right or left (up to 45
• Set the footplate (7) at desired angle, move forward and tighten
fixing screws to secure it (fig. I).
You can read footplate bevel angle on the angular scale located on the
footplate. Put the hexagonal key in its storage place after adjustment
is made.
CUTTING
• Put front part of the footplate (7) flat on the material that you plan
to cut.
• Switch on the jigsaw and wait until it reaches its full set rotational
speed.
• Move the jigsaw slowly and guide the blade along previously set
cutting line.
• When cutting curved lines move the jigsaw very carefully.
Cut at a uniform rate, be careful not to overload the jigsaw. Excessive
pressure applied on the blade will suppress pendulum action and
will affect cutting efficiency unfavourably. Decrease or switch off the
pendulum action completely when cutting along gently curved line.
When the footplate does not rest on the processed material with
its whole surface but is lifted above, there is danger of breaking
the blade.
CUTTING WITH USE OF LASER
Laser device unit generates laser beam that projects line on the
material and shows how the material will be cut. Laser beam is used
for precision cutting.
• Press the laser switch button (14) (laser unit will start to project red
line through the laser beam aperture (13)) (fig. J).
• Position the footplate (7) on the material that you plan to cut. Use
the laser beam as a reference line.
• Make the cut along the line. Switch the laser off when cutting is
finished.
Never look directly at the source of the laser beam, never point
the laser beam at any person.
