NOTE:
The device is equipped with start-up protection to prevent switching on without the hoppers
being correctly fitted (2, 10).
• Switch off and disconnect the device from the mains after operation.
USEFUL TIPS
• It is recommended to grind an exact amount of coffee needed at any given moment;
• If you prepare the grind for an espresso machine, please follow recommendations from the
manufacturer of the espresso machine;
• You can store the unused grind in the container
• In the event that the abrasive surfaces of the machine get blocked, unplug the burr grinder, empty
the container (2), unscrew it and clean the abrasive surfaces (see: CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Do not use abrasives, cleaning powders, acetone, alcohol, etc. to clean the device.
• None of the parts of the grinder are suitable for washing in mechanical dishwashers.
• Never immerse the device body in water or wash under running water.
• Disconnect the device from the mains.
• Pull the hopper (11) out of the body (9) and remove the cover (1) from the hopper (2).
• Remove the unground coffee beans from the hopper (2). Wipe the inside of the hopper (2) with a
soft, damp cloth and then dry thoroughly.
• The hopper (11) and covers (1, 10) can be washed in warm water with a little bit of detergent using
a toothbrush and rinsed under running water and then thoroughly dried.
• Clean the device body (9) using a damp cloth.
• All components must be dry before reassembly.
• Do not use any lubricants on the quern inside the hopper (2).
