CMM-11 is powered by two LR03 AAA 1.5 V batteries or two
NiMH LR03 AAA 1.2 V rechargeable batteries. It is recommended
to use alkaline batteries.
While performing the measurements with the battery symbol
displayed, the user must be aware of additional measure-
ment uncertainties or unstable operation of the device.
If the test leads are left in the terminals during replacement
of the batteries, they may generate a risk of electric shock.
To replace the battery:
 remove test leads from the terminals of the meter.
 set the rotational function selector at OFF,
 lift the foot at the back of the meter,
 use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the three screws fixing the
rear cover,
 remove the cover,
 replace discharged batteries with new ones, observing the polari-
ty,
 put on the cover and tighten the fixing screws.
To avoid electric shock, do not use the meter if the battery
compartment cover is not in place or is not properly fas-
tened.
