A beep emitted twice a second
A white light flashing once every 3 seconds.
During this stage a radio signal will be emitted to aid localisation of the
person in need of rescue.
Manual activation
Should your W400(EX) MOB fail to activate automatically you can proceed
with manual activation. After checking that the knob (1) is in the 'ARMED'
position, press the 'Test/Activation' pushbutton (5). Once pressed your
W400(EX) MOB device will be activated the same way as it is in automatic
mode.
Deactivation
To deactivate your W400(EX) MOB it is necessary to rotate the knob (1)
clockwise, repositioning it to 'OFF'.
Press the pushbutton (2) inwards to release the safety lock and then,
continuing to hold the pushbutton down, rotate the knob clockwise until
the 'OFF' position is reached, then release the pushbutton (2).
The device will be deactivated and stop emitting radio signals.
Periodic checks
Your W400(EX) MOB has been designed and built using the very latest
technology to ensure maximum performance and simplicity of use. As with
operation of the unit, periodic maintenance procedures are designed to be
simple and fast.
One of the most important things that needs checking periodically is the
battery charge.
Make sure the knob (1) is in the 'OFF' position, then press the
'Test/Activation' pushbutton (5) and release it.
The check, which lasts about 12 seconds, observes the following sequence:
The red indicator light inside the flash lens (4) comes on.
