FOREWORD

This manual must be read carefully before installing, putting
into service and using the vehicle.
This manual is an integrating part of the product and consists
in two parts, one of them being yellow.
Read carefully the instructions and the warnings contained in
this booklet since they give you some important information
about the SAFETY measures and MAINTENANCE of the
vehicle. Pay attention to the general safety norms indicated in
the yellow enclosure.

! The user of the vehicle and all people in charge of the
operations of ordinary maintenance must be acquainted with
the contents of this booklet.
CLASSIFICATION
The user must observe the conditions for the use of the vehicle
prescribed by the Manufacturer.
Electrical operated vehicle, supplied with d.c. by using rechar-
geable batteries. Thanks to the optional accessories supplied
by the manufacturer, it is useful for transporting and towing
goods.
For electric shock protection purposes, the vehicle - in a rechar-
ge phase - is an I Class appliance.
Use only orginal spare parts, which can grant the best
quality and safety performances. The manufacturer is not liable
if other spare parts but the original ones are used. The safety
of the vehicle can be compromised if original spare parts are
not used.
The vehicle is tested in the factory and all its safety devices
are checked and rated.
it is forbidden to alter their settings.
The vehicle, in the recharging phase, must be placed in a
large flat area ; it must not be moved and the parking brake
must be on.
The electrical safety of the vehicle is ensured only on condition
that an efficient earthing installation exists, as required by the
current electric safety laws (for Italy see law 6/90).
It is very important to have this basic safety requirement
checked; in case of doubts, ask for a thorough check of the
installation by highly skilled staff.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any possible damages
caused by the non -earthing of the appliance.

The vehicle must not be used in the presence of corrosive or
potencially explosive atmospheres (vapour or gases).
Incorrect use of the vehicle may cause damage to persons,
animals or things; in this case the manufacturer cannot be
considered responsible.
Electric operated vehicle, supplied with direct current by re-
chargeable batteries, suitable for the carrying and the towing
of goods by using some optional accessories supplied by the
manufacturer.

Use only original accessories which can offer better
quality and safety performances.
If other accessories but the original have been used, the ma-
nufacturer declines any responsability.
The load to be towed must never be higher than the values
shown by the manufacturer and must always be fixed.
This vehicles must be used only for the purpose it was expres-
sively destined to.
Any other use must be considered improper and therefore
unreasonable.
Examples for unreasonable use:
* using with discharged batteries
* turning corners with eccessive speed
* braking roughly while reversing
* transporting people
* using the vehicle with locked accelerator with gear on
* using the vehicle on very rough surfaces
* leaving the vehicle unguarded with the key in the lock
* parking the vehicle exposed to rain or storms
The manufacturer may not be considered responsible for any
damage caused by unproper, wrong or unreasonable use.
