(EN) Have fun at home making your own cupcakes, muffins and buns! It's really easy
with this little appliance, decorate them any way you like!

2. Warnings
- Remove all packaging.
-Fully unroll the power cable.
- NEVER IMMERSE THE COOKING SURFACES IN WATER.
- To protect against fire, electric shocks and damage, do not immerse the cable, the
plug or the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Before using for the first time, clean the cooking surfaces with warm water, soap
and a soft sponge.
- Read the instructions carefully before use.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use the plastic handle on the lid. - Do not touch
the lid when it is hot.
- Clean the cooking surfaces with a soft damp cloth and then dry them.
- Children using this appliance or nearby when it is being used should be closely
supervised.
- Do not let the power cable hang over the edge of the table or worktop, or touch any
hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in or near a heated oven.
- Only use on dry, level, non-slippery surfaces.
Do not use outdoors.
- Do not use if the plug or power cable are damaged.
- The use of accessories which are not recommended may cause fires, electric
shocks or damage.
- Always unplug from the power supply when not in use and before cleaning to avoid
accidental electric shocks. Leave to cool before cleaning.
- There is a risk of burns when the device is hot, even if it is disconnected. Do not
touch or store away while it is hot.
- Use for recommended uses only.
- Only use with currents of 220-240 V and 50 Hz. Use a well earthed plug. Do not use
three to two prong adaptors with the three prong cable provided.

- To bake more cupcakes, spread more oil over the cooking surface, close the lid and
wait as required.
- When the "ready" light comes on again, you may repeat the process following the
steps above.
- Once you have finished, immediately unplug the power cable.
- Keep the appliance open to allow it to cool.
- Caution: The hot surfaces as well as the sides and the top can get extremely hot.
Avoid touching these hot areas by using the handles.
- The appliance must always be kept horizontal when in use.
3. Cleaning and care
- Unplug the power cable from the socket.
- Clean the appliance only when it is completely cooled.
- Clean the outside and the cooking surface with a soft damp cloth.
- Make sure you remove any baked-on food from the remaining oil. –
- If the non-stick cooking surfaces are kept clean, the non-stick layer retains its
properties.
- Crumbs and leftover mixture can easily be removed with a soft brush.
- Do not use abrasive agents or sharp objects (knives or scourers).
- Caution: Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids, as this may cause
an electric shock.

5. Operating instructions
- Coat the cooking surfaces with vegetable oil or kitchen spray.
- Close the lid.
- Plug the cable into a 220 - 240 volt. power supply.
- The indicator light on the appliance will light up and the aluminium trays will begin to
heat up.
- Open the appliance using the front handle only.
- Place a dollop of mixture in each mould but do not fill to the top, as the cakes will
rise as they bake. They should normally be two thirds full.
- Close the appliance and make sure the safety catch is in place.
If there is too much mixture, the appliance will not close. Never force the appliance
to close it if it has been overfilled.
- During baking, the internal thermostat regulates the temperature. The green light
indicates that the cupcakes are baking and the red light shows that the cooking time
is over.
- Baking time is between 10 and 14 minutes, depending on the type of mixture.
- Once the cakes have finished baking, carefully open the appliance and remove the
baked goods using a flat wooden or plastic spatula. (Never use a sharp or metal
object, such as knives or metal spatulas, as these can damage the non-stick
surface).
- The cupcakes are ready when they are slightly golden on the bottom and lightly
toasted on the top.
- If the cupcakes haven't risen, close the lid and bake them for a couple more
minutes.
6. Helpful hints:
- When using for the first time, the appliance may give off a slight smell when heating
up. This is due to the breaking-in period and should not be a cause for concern.
- If the cupcakes or muffins come out undercooked on the top, you need to put more
mixture in each mould.
- If the bottom of the cupcakes or muffins are not well cooked, try adding more
mixture and pre-heat for longer.
- To check if the cupcakes are ready, stick a fork or skewer into them and if the
mixture sticks to the utensil, this means they are not ready yet.
- Use plastic utensils with smooth edges. Do not use kitchen utensils with sharp
edges, such as knives, forks or spoons, as these could scratch the non-stick surface
and affect its performance.
7. How to cook your cupcake
Beat for 1 minute on medium speed. Scrape the side of the bowl with a spatula. Add
eggs to the mixture. Beat for 1 minute on medium speed. Scrape bowl again. Beat on
high speed for a minute and 30 seconds until well mixed. Spoon the cupcake batter
into paper cups until full. Bake for 10-14 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centre
comes out clean, remove and allow to cool. Once the cupcakes are completely
cooled, frost with your favourite frosting recipe or decorate as you desire.
8. Recipes for special cupcakes
CHOCOLATE AND PEANUT BUTTER CUPCAKES
• 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
• 3 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
• 3 tablespoons baking cocoa
• 1 1/4 cups 2% milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3 large eggs
Preheat Mini Cupcake Maker until ready light turns on. Line cupcake wells with paper
cups or use a non-stick spray.
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix at low speed for 30 seconds while
scraping bowl. Mix at high speed for 3 minutes, scraping bowl every minute. Spoon
cupcake batter into paper cups or directly onto greased wells until they are 1/2 to 2/3
full. Bake for 10-14 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean,
remove and allow to cool.
Frost your peanut butter and chocolate cupcakes any way you want. You could even
try just spreading extra peanut butter as your frosting.
The easiest way to make cupcakes is to use a favorite packaged cake mix. Read the
labels as some work better than others for cupcakes. If you want to make your own
cupcakes here are some fun recipes to enjoy.
EASY CUPCAKE RECIPE
• 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
• 1 1/3 cups sugar
• 3 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 large eggs

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add
shortening, milk, and vanilla.
CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS
• 3/4 lb chocolate chips
• 1/3 lb of soft butter
• 4 medium eggs
• 2 1/2 cups of flour
• 1 cup of sugar
• 1/4 cup of milk
• 1 tablespoon of baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Preheat Mini Cupcake Maker until ready light turns on. Line cupcake wells with paper
cups or use a non-stick spray.
Beat the butter and the vanilla extract together to form a light, airy mixture. One at a
time, add the eggs, and beat gently. Add ¼ cup of the sugar after each egg and mix
thorougly. Put the baking powder and salt in the milk, then add to the mixture. Fold in
the flour and the chocolate chips.
Pour the mix into the greased muffin wells, filling each cup two-thirds full. Bake for
10-14 minutes or until muffins turn golden brown, remove and allow to cool. Once the
cupcakes are completely cooled, frost with your favourite frosting recipe or decorate
as you desire.
RED VELVET CUPCAKES
• 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup baking cocoa (powdered)
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 sticks butter at room temperature
• 5 large eggs
• 1 cup buttermilk (see note at bottom)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon red food coloring
Preheat Mini Cupcake Maker until ready light turns on. Line cupcake wells with paper
cups or use a non-stick spray.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl. Sift dry
ingredients three times.
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, making sure to beat well after each egg. Add 1/4 of dry
ingredients to creamed mixture then approximately 1/4 of buttermilk alternating until
mixed well. Mix in vanilla and food colouring. Bake for 10-14 minutes or until muffins
turn golden brown, remove and allow to cool. Once the cupcakes are completely
cooled, frost with your favourite frosting recipe or decorate as you desire.
