Heating and cooling system

Heating and cooling equipment process is performed by the pass of steam or chilled
water through the vessel's dimple jacket
At the bottom of the vessel there is a thermocouple 4-20 mA that sends the
temperature parameters to PLC and allows the user to visualize and control the
temperature inside the vessel. Temperature control is achieved by opening or
closing the steam valve located in the skid.

All the valves involved in the control and regulation of the cooling and heating
process has been integrated in a stainless steel structure (Skid) that is described
extensively in the chapter 5 of this manual.

Recirculation pipe

The vessel has a 2" AISI 361L stainless steel pipe with an internal roughness Ra <
0.6μm for product recirculation.
The pipe is equipped with 4 manually operated arc valves that permit the following
operations according to their position:
Recirculating product with shearing which is loaded through the top of the

reactor.
Recirculating product without shearing which is loaded through the top of

the reactor.
Recirculating product with shearing which is loaded through the bottom of
-
the reactor.
Recirculating product without shearing which is loaded through the bottom
-
of the reactor.
Recirculation with shearing for CIP.

Recirculation without shearing for CIP.

Emptying the reactor.
