Adax SLX Slave for Neo/Clea
For use when controlling heaters with a central room thermostat
SLX
SLX is a plug-in module that turns standard
Adax heaters into slave heaters.
Temperature regulation takes place from
a centrally located room thermostat
(mechanical or electronic). When the
central room thermostat switches on and
off, heaters fitted with the Adax SLX will
switch on and off at the same time.
The central room thermostat must be
designed to withstand the total heat
output being regulated.
Specifications:
• Acts as an electronic ballast and switches
the heater element on when the heater is
supplied with operating voltage.
• Some electronic thermostats require a
certain base load to operate. The SLX
alone may not provide a high enough load,
so make sure to give the thermostat the
base load it requires.
