• Do not use the coffee maker without water.
• To protect against fire, electric shock and injury do not immerse the cord or plug
in water or any other liquid.

• The carafe is designed for use with this appliance, it must never be used on a
hob.
• Do not clean the carafe with cleansers, steel wool pads, or other abrasive
materials.
• Never leave the empty carafe on the warm plate as it is liable to crack.
• Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any signs of cracks or if the handle
is loose or weakened. Only use the carafe with this appliance. Use carefully as
the carafe is very fragile.
• Do not place a hot container on a hot or cold surface.
