Changing the blade

Remove the battery from the pruning shears.
Unscrew the nut (11) using a spanner and lift
off the spring washer (9) and the washer (8).
Pull the screw (10) out.
Tilt the movable blade (1) approximately 45
degrees and lift it off . Make sure no dirt gets
into the teeth in the drive mechanism.
Sharpen the blade or replace it with a new
one.

Place the teeth of the blade against the teeth
of the drive mechanism and turn the blade
until the hole in the blade is lined up with the
hole in the gearbox.
Insert the screw through the holes to hold
the blade and secure it by attaching the
washer, spring washer and nut to the screw
thread.
NB! If the blade is incorrectly fi tted, the
pruning shears will be damaged!

Cleaning and maintenance

The pruning shears must not be cleaned
using water or liquids.
Clean the pruning shears by wiping exterior
parts with a damp cloth.
Ensure the ventilation slots are kept free of
dust and dirt.
Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents, as they may aff ect the plastic parts of
the pruning shears.
Lubricate the blade with few drops of acid-
free oil.
Always place the protective cover (14) on
the blade when transporting or storing the
pruning shears.
