For wet processing
▷ Insert the swarf sieve with the wide side facing
toward the rear.
When the chip sieve is not inserted for wet
machining, chips are flushed directly into the
tank. This leads to more frequent changing of
the filter bag.
The swarf sieve is included in the delivery
scope of the supply unit. It can remain
inserted in the machine during dry
processing.
▷ Shut the door of the milling machine.
▷ Switch the milling machine on via the main
switch.
▷ Switch the PC on.
▷ Start the milling machine software.
When the software is started, a machine initiali-
sation takes place.
If the milling machine is not detected:
▷ Restart the PC.
After re-positioning, it is recommended to
check the system axes. This can take place
through:
▷ Activation of auto-calibration in the
service menu of the milling machine.
▷ A manual test milling run (in excep-
tional cases and only upon support
request).
