occupational health and safety principles for manual
transport operations which apply in the country
where the device will be used.
j)
Avoid situations where the device stops working
during use due to excessive loading. This may result
in overheating of the drive elements and damage to
the device.
k)
Do not touch articulated parts or accessories unless
the device has been disconnected from the power
source.
l)
Do not move, adjust or rotate the device in the
course of work.
m)
Do not leave this appliance unattended while it is in use.
n)
Clean the device regularly to prevent stubborn grime
from accumulating.
o)
Before each use, make sure that the device is properly
assembled and there are no leaks or damage.
p)
Do not carry or hang the device by the suction or
delivery hose.
q)
If you notice a leak from the pump or hoses,
immediately disconnect the device from the power
source.
r)
Do not use the device with a damaged power cord or
hose.
s)
The device should be protected against external
factors and adverse weather conditions, especially
against rain and moisture.
t)
The device should be placed as close as possible
to the tank so that the suction hose is as short as
possible.
u)
Before each use, check the tightness of suction and
delivery hose connections and the state of the hoses.
Leaks may prevent pumping due to air intake or
cause a dangerous leakage.
v)
The suction and delivery hoses should be protected
against accidental damage.
w)
During use, always make sure that no mechanical
pressure will be exerted on the pump during use due
to the weight of the liquid hoses. It is recommended
to fix the hoses to the wall using rubber-padded
clamps.
x)
Hoses must not be bent, twisted or excessively
stretched.
y)
Check the position of the pump to ensure that the
suction and delivery capabilities of the device have
not been exceeded.
z)
Before the first use, flood the pump and the suction
hose with the liquid to be pumped. The device
cannot work dry. The pumped liquid must not
contain any abrasive matter or impurities. Abrasive
material shortens the pump life.
aa)
A non-return valve with a filter should be fitted at the
end of the suction hose. If the pump happens to suck
in foreign material like sand, small stones, etc., it may
be damaged.
bb)
Take precautions to protect the surroundings from
being flooded with the pumped liquid if the device
fails.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protective features, and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a slight risk of accident or injury when using the
device. Stay alert and use common sense when using
the device.
