6.3 Connecting the pump electrically
!
CAUTION!
Only use cables with the following cable cross section:
• 2.5 mm² for cable lengths of up to 6 m
• 4 mm² for cable lengths of more than 6 m
➤ Connect the red positive cable and the black negative cable to the 12 or 24 V
power supply.
➤ Install a sufficient fuse in the positive cable, see chapter "Technical data" on
page 11.

Using the pump

➤ Open the supply point.
✓ The pump automatically turns on and pumps water.
➤ Close the supply point.
✓ The pump automatically turns off again.

Cleaning and caring for the pump

!
WARNING! Danger of electrocution!
Always disconnect the mains plug before you clean and service the
device.
A
NOTICE! Danger of damaging the device!
Never clean the device under running water or in dish water.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning as
these can damage the device.
➤ Occasionally clean the device with a damp cloth.
