·
ü
ATTENTION!
Anti-condensation heaters (optional)
In the event of storage in environments with high humidity and high temperature variations, before starting up, power the anti-condensation
heaters, if present, for a period sufficient to allow the stator to dry completely.
Also check the insulation resistance. For the measurement procedure and limit values refer to paragraph 7.
However, place the motor in a position that facilitates any condensate drainage.
ü
ATTENTION!
Insulation resistance
It is advisable to periodically check the insulation resistance of the motors to verify the storage conditions. For the measurement procedure
and limit values refer to paragraph 7.
If a drop in the insulation resistance is found, the storage conditions must be re-checked and corrected.

Make sure that the lifting means adopted have a capacity adequate to the load to be lifted and that they are in
good condition.
Make sure the eyebolts (if used) are properly tightened.
Do not pause or pass under the load during lifting or transport
Adjust the length of the ropes or straps appropriately.
Disconnect the cables from the motor before handling.
Do not use the power cable to move or support the motor.
Do not use the motor shaft-end to move or support the motor.
Always comply with general and local regulations in force.
Use, during any operations, the necessary individual devices of protection (ex: gloves, glasses etc.)
The motor is supplied individually wrapped in protective packaging that must be removed just before
installation.
Store the product protected from atmospheric agents, in a dry place, free from dust, frost and vibrations.
Storage temperature: min -0 ° C - max 50 ° C
Protect the exposed metal surfaces with suitable means to prevent corrosion.
If you plan to store the motor for a long period of time (more than one month), it is necessary to perform the
following operations monthly:
Verify that the preservation status of the motor and paying more attention to the non-painted
ü
surfaces;
Check, with suitable tools, the free rotation of the shaft: once a month, rotate the shaft manually.
ü
Make at least 5 complete turns and position the shaft in a different position from the starting one.
·
In case of any problem replace or recondition the damaged parts prior the use.
Make sure that the anti-condensation heaters are not powered with the motor running.
