Reverse osmosis unit with a 24 V safety tension for the desalination of tap water with a daily output
of up to 400 litres. With this unit, you can remove the inorganic and organic substances, dissolved in your tap
water, to a percentage of about 99% without adding any chemicals.
1. Delivery
The reverse osmosis system platinum line plus is operated with a safety tension of 24 V and is supplied with
three large 10" filter housings. The standard filter cartridges (activated carbon, fine filter and demineralization
resin) can easily be replaced. The fitted pressure gauge will display the operation pressure at any time. All
components, the prefilter housings and the membrane module are mounted onto a stable powder-coated
bracket. The unit has a high pressure pump and a flushing valve and therefore, can achieve a high ratio of pure
to waste water output up to a maximum of 1:1 (depending on water temperature, pressure and ingredients).
The salt removal rate is up to 99%. Due to the fully automatic back flushing and continuous monitoring of the
pure water, the unit requires very little maintenance. It consists of the following parts:
- Fine filter 10" with 5 µm pore size
- Combined filter (fine and activated carbon filter)
- Reverse osmosis module PTFC 200 with a first class synthetic membrane (Polyamide/Polysulfon) with a daily
output of up to 400 litres at a pressure of 6-7 bar (Fig. 4, No. 5)
- Flush valve 400
- Demineralization filter
- 24 V DC high pressure pump incl. control unit
- Tap water connection fitting (3/4") incl. pressure tube
- 24 V power pack (input 100-240 V/50-60 Hz; output 24 V/ 1.5 A)
2. Set-Up
All components of the reverse osmosis system, except for the membrane and tubes, are mounted ready for use
on a bracket. This should be should be fixed on the wall, if possible near a water / wastewater connection. To
prevent corrosion, the system must not be operated in rooms with high humidity. Otherwise, condensation could
form. No water (splash or condensate) may reach the electronic components such as solenoid valves or pressure
switches. Prior to operating, it is necessary to install the membrane and connect the hoses.

Tube fittings:
1. Remove the blue lock ring.
2. Insert the hose to a complete stop into the fitting.
3. Refit the lock ring.
4. Pull the hose back as a test that it is located.
Removing the tubes:
1. Remove the blue lock ring.
2. Push the ring back towards the fitting with a finger nail. Now, you can remove
the tube.
3. Please don't forget to refit the lock ring.
