Cleaning
When cleaning your chainsaw, do not spray or immerse it in water.
General cleaning, maintenance and repair
1.
During cleaning, maintenance and repair, the chainsaw may accidentally start if the battery
pack is not disconnected from the tool. This can cause serious injury and damage to
property.
a. Disconnect the power supply.
b. Remove the bar and chain.

Corrosive cleaners, high-pressure cleaning equipment, or sharp cleaning tools can damage
the chainsaw, bar, chain, battery, or charger. If the chainsaw, bar, chain, battery pack, and
charger are not cleaned properly, then the parts do not work as they should, or the safety
device does not work, potentially resulting in serious.
a. Clean the chainsaw, bar, chain, battery and charger according to the manual.

a. Please wear protective gloves.

Cleaning the chainsaw

a. Turn off the chainsaw and remove the battery.
b. Wipe the chainsaw with a damp cloth.
c. Remove the protective cover of the chain sprocket.
d. Clean the area around the periphery of the chain sprocket and the motor casing with a damp
cloth and/or compressed air.

f. Use a soft brush when cleaning the battery charger.
g. Close the protective cover of the chain sprocket.
h. Retension the chain, if necessary.
Cleaning the bar and chainsaw
a. Turn off the chainsaw and remove the battery.
b. Remove the bar and chain.
c. Clean the oil outlet (1), the oil inlet (2) and the rear groove of the bar (3)
with a soft brush.
d. Clean the chain with a soft brush or special cleaning tools
e. Dry thoroughly after cleaning
f. Fit the bar and chain.
