Shear hazard
1.
Using this power tool poses a risk of cutting or completely amputating one or more of the
body's extremities.
2.
You must be alert and very careful when using power tools. Do not use the tool when you
are tired or under the influence of drugs and medications. Fatigue or loss of consciousness
during operation of the power tool may result in serious personal injury.
3.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear protective goggles and safety equipment
such as dust masks, non-slip safety shoes, helmets, hearing protectors, etc. Wear appropria-
te safety equipment which in appropriate conditions can reduce personal injury.
4.
To avoid accidental tool start-up, always make sure the switch is in the off position when
plugging into the power supply, the battery, when picking up or carrying.
5.
Remove all spanners or tools before starting the power tool. A spanner or tool left on the
moving parts of the power tool may cause personal injury.
6.
Make sure you do not lose your balance. Always pay attention to your footing and balance.
This allows good control of the power tool especially in unexpected situations.
7.
Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep clothing, gloves
and hair away from moving parts. Loose clothes, accessories or long hair may be caught in
moving parts.
8.
If chip removal and dust collection devices are used, ensure that these devices are properly
connected and used. The use of such devices may reduce the risks of damage caused by
dust.

When the chainsaw is running, debris or sawdust may be ejected and could cause physical
injury.
a. Wear protective goggles during use.
b. Wear a face covering.
c. Wear long clothing.
10. Falling objects from above can cause head injuries.
11. During operation, dust and sawdust will form, which will result in poor air circulation or a
possible allergic reaction.
12. Improper clothing can get caught in the branches or groin, affecting chainsaw operation.
Improper clothing may result in serious injury.
13. When approaching the chainsaw when running, there is a risk of serious injury to users.
a. Wear trousers with a protection degree defined according to the speed of the chainsaw.
14. The user may get injured while cutting wood. In particular, the user may inadvertently touch
the sharp edges of the chain when cleaning the machine or chain.
a. Please wear protective gloves when working.
15. Inadequate shoes can result in slipping or falling. The user may be injured if they touch the
chain of the saw after falling.
a. Wear protective boots specially made for chainsaw use, with a protection degree defined
according to the speed of the chainsaw.
