calibrate the device manually. To do this, briefly press
the up arrow key e. In the submenu, you can also set
whether you want to use the semi-automatic shutter
or the silent manual shutter. When you set manual
calibration, the internal shutter is disabled. When
shuttering (calibrating), you must hold the lens cap
in front of the lens or use another object to cover
the sensor. If you do not cover the lens in manual
mode, a so-called ghost effect occurs, which is why
you see the image doubled or covered. Shuttering
with a cover can eliminate this error. In the semi-
automatic mode, you decide when the instrument
should calibrate by briefly pressing the up e arrow
key. The shutter is triggered by the device.

15. Picture-in-Picture (PiP)

When the picture-in-picture function is turned on,
a small window appears at the top center with the
2x magnification of the normal image. The mode is
activated by pressing the menu key f for approx. 2
seconds. Press again for 2 seconds to exit the mode.

16. Other setting
Select the System item in the menu.
The following points can be changed here:
• Calibrate
• Screen brightness
• Menu bar
• Language
• Date
• Reset
• Pixel repair
• About - device software version etc.
17. Pixel repair
Here you are offered the possibility to repair small
pixel defects in the image yourself. To do this, open
the f menu and navigate over the defective pixel
using the eand g arrow keys. Confirming the pixel
will repair it.
