When mowing the grass, keep the power supply
cord behind the lawn mower.
When starting the lawn mower, after having read
all the instructions, keep your feet away from the
mower base.
Always keep the mower base grass exit to the grass
catcher unobstructed.
Neither lift nor carry the mower when the motor is on.
Keep all nuts and screws tighten to make sure the
lawn mower is in usage conditions. After mowing
the grass, remove all the grass from the base, both in
the upper and lower parts.
Inspect and check the power cable and never repair
the wire with electrical tape. If the cable is damaged,
it must be replaced by an Authorized Service from
Trapp, to avoid the risk of accidents.

Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
Never use a water jet to clean the lawn mower. Clean
it with a sponge or cloth soaked in neutral detergent.
TRAPP Lawn Mowers are classified as Protection
Class II - Double or Reinforced Insulation.
Manufacturing follows a series of constructive
requirements such as standardized drive keys,
cords and motors, flow distances and gap between
the energized parts. The materials used meet safety
requirements of household appliances and similar
products by INMETRO, Ordinance 371. Despite
that double insulation, the safety precautions
described in this manual shall be followed. Los

The lawn mowers are equipped with a safety system
(to avoid machine turning on accidentally) which
requires the use of both hands.
To turn on, press red button (1) and simultaneously
grasp safety lever (2) against handle.

Have extreme caution when reversing or pulling the
machine towards you.
Start the motor with the cutting blade free and wait for
the motor to reach the ideal rotation. Do not start the
mower directly on the grass.
Recommendations on use, type and maximum
length of extension cord to be used (pg. 45)
(cords follow Standard ABNT NBR NM 60335-1,
clause 25.7).
Maintenance and storage:
Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be

sure that the equipment is in safe operating
condition.
Inspect the lawn recipient bag frequently for

signs of wear or deterioration.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.

With rotary mowers, make sure that only

cutting original replacement parts are used.
Electric equipment constructed with this
insulation system do not require the use of a
ground wire.
Warning:
The double insulation does not substitute
the precautions that have to be taken when using the
lawn mower. It is an additional safety feature against
accidents that can be caused by an insulation system
failure of the lawn mower.
Motor only runs when safety lever (2) is pushed
against the handle, and turning automatically once
lever is released.
