2. If the brown/white wire is connected to the battery positive (+) pole and the

3. If the brown wire is connected to the battery positive (+) pole and the black
wire is connected to the battery negative (-) pole, the pump will be operated
by manual command.
4. Install the wiring away from all passageways and attach it to the bulkheads to
prevent snagging and pulling.
3.4. Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Install a service switch in an accessible location for easy operation of the
pump's electrical power source.
b) Routinely maintain and clean the pump. Failure to ensure hygienic treatment
and maintenance is one of the reasons for low discharge capacity of the pump.
c)
Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
d)
Do not clean with any sharp and/or metal implements (e.g. a wire brush or a
metal scraper) as these may damage the surface of the appliance.
e)
Do not clean the unit with acidic substances, medical products, thinners, fuel,
oil or other chemicals as they may damage it.
f)
Periodically inspect the wiring connections to make sure they have not been
exposed to sea water, remain water-sealed (with the marine-grade sealant),
and installed high enough above the water level.
g)
Do not clean the pump with general-purpose household detergents; many of
these products can compromise the pump materials.
