Special safety instructions

The rice cooker is only intended for cooking
rice and steaming vegetables. Do not try to
cook rice in boiling bags, pudding rice or the
like. Do not attempt to heat or cook other
foodstuff s in the rice cooker.
The rice cooker may be used by children
over 8 years old and people with reduced
sensitivity, physical or mental disability, as
long as they are supervised or have been
instructed in the use of equipment in a
safe manner and have thus understood the
associated risks. Children must not play with
the rice cooker. Cleaning and maintenance
must not be carried out by children unless
they are supervised.
When the rice cooker is in use, it should
be monitored continuously. When the rice
cooker is in use, any children near it must not
be left unattended. The rice cooker is not a
toy.
Do not connect the rice cooker using an
on/off timer or other equipment that can
automatically switch on the appliance.
The rice cooker is for indoor use only.
The rice cooker must be placed on a heat-
resistant surface.
The rice cooker must not be placed on, over
or in the vicinity of a gas burner or other
cooking plates.
