Use
Close the sandwich toaster.
Insert the plug into the mains socket and
switch on the power.
The indicator light and thermostat light
come on to show that the sandwich toaster is
on and is heating up.
Once the hotplates reach the preset
temperature, the thermostat light goes
out. The thermostat will then go on and
off to keep the sandwich toaster at the set
temperature.
Open the sandwich toaster.
Prepare two sandwiches by buttering four
slices of sandwich bread. Place two slices of
bread on the hotplate with the buttered side
facing down.
Place the lling on the slices of bread and
place the other slices of bread on top with
the buttered side facing upwards.
Lower the top hotplate down onto the
sandwiches. Close the hotplates together
using the handles and lock them together
with the lock.
NB! If the sandwiches are so thick that the
handles cannot easily be locked together,
you must not press them together.
Allow the sandwiches to toast for 2-3
minutes and then check them to ensure they
are not burning.
Once the sandwiches have acquired the
desired colour, remove them from the
hotplates with a utensil made of wood or soft
plastic. Do not use metal utensils, as they can
damage the coating on the hotplates.
Cleaning and maintenance
Unplug the sandwich toaster and allow it to
cool before cleaning it.
Never submerge the sandwich toaster in
water. All external and internal surfaces can
be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Soften any food residues stuck to the
hotplates using a little cooking oil, and then
scrape them off using a utensil made of
wood or soft plastic.
Do not use sharp or abrasive objects when
cleaning the sandwich toaster.
