VI2F-PIT7B INDOOR STATION WITH 7" TOUCH SCREEN 2-WIRE RANGE

1) OVERVIEW
The VI2F-PIT7B is an indoor audio/video station of the AVE DOMINA system 2-wire video-intercom system V44EASY. The functions and characteristics are as follows:
Audio/Video/Buttons:
• 7" horizontal touch screen • Hands-free • Touch buttons: gates opening, silencing, camera display;
Warnings:
• Missed call • Door open• Ringtone silencing activated;
Video intercom functions:
• Answering a call • Display of analogue cameras via a special VI2F-CAM interface • Auxiliary outside door bell management • Management of three gates, two on board the outdoor station
and one optional on auxiliary relay VI2F-RELAY • Intercommunication between appliances in the same apartment or in other apartments.
2) DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
The VI2F-PIT7B device complies with the following standards:
• EN 62820-1-1:2016 Building intercom systems Part 1-1: System Requirements – General. Grade 2;
It also complies with the following directives and regulations:
• RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU;
• REACh Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006;
• EMC 2014/30/EU
3) INSTALLATION, POSITIONING AND FIXING
The device should be installed at a height of 1.5 m from the ground. Screw the screws supplied to secure the support bracket to the rectangular box, after it has been horizontally recessed. Once the
wiring has been completed, align the slots in the back of the monitor with the bracket hooks and slide the device slightly downwards (to install the devices refer to figure 1 and 2). The AVE video-
intercom system complies with the strictest product standards both as regards performance and safety requirements and compliance with the relevant environmental tests. It also contains advanced
video surveillance functions (which can be activated during installation of the system) that may be subject to Regulation 679/2016 ("GDPR") and the General Provision of the Video surveillance authority
of 8 April 2010. Since these indications establish specific obligations for the protection of privacy, we draw attention to the fact that the installation is carried out according to the current laws and
legislative decrees on "privacy".
4) CONNECTIONS
The meaning of the connection terminals and the dip-switch located at the rear of the device (see Fig. 3) is illustrated here below:
 

• Device Master/Slave Setting: Set to (M) or to (S) to assign the Master or Slave role, respectively;
• Impedance matching: set to ON when the station is the last in a series.
Otherwise, leave to OFF. It must be set to ON even if the station is connected to the
VI2F-PIDIST indoor distributor
5) LANGUAGE
When the device is switched on for the first time, the language selection is displayed: select the desired language and press the "Exit" button. If no operation is performed within 10 seconds, the English
language will be associated by default. However, it is possible to change the language at a later stage as follows: access the Settings/Language menu and select the required language.
6) CHANGE PASSWORD
The default password of the device is 222222; it is possible to change the default password as follows: access the Settings/Advanced Settings menu, enter the default password and press OK. Select
the "Password Setting" parameter and enter the required values. Note: the password must contain 6 digits. If the password to access the advanced configuration menu is lost, it is possible to access the menu
by typing the code 801801 to reset the device password.
7) ADDRESSING
Access the Settings/Advanced Settings menu. Enter the password and press OK to access the configuration menu. Select the "Address" parameter, associate the apartment address with the touch
screen and press OK to confirm. Note: the address to be associated with the touch screen corresponds to the number of the button to be pressed on the outdoor station or the number to be entered in the
outdoor touch station.
8) SOUND
The device includes various ringtones. To listen and select the ringtone: go to the Settings/Sound menu and press the + and – buttons to change the selection. Press "OK" to confirm the selected ringtone
or "EXIT" to abort the operation. OS ringtone: ringtone of the incoming call from the outdoor station; Ringtone volume: volume of the ringtone; IS ringtone: ringtone of the incoming intercommunicating
call; Repeat ringtone: at the end of the call cycle, the ringtone is repeated until the call time expires; Button Tone: sound activation when the buttons are pressed.
