QCMSX motion sensor is a wireless, battery powered wind sensor which provides protection by detecting wind
generated movements and then retracting awning. QCMSX awning motion sensor is compatible with all the Gaposa
radio motors and controls.
ATTENTION: the QCMSX sensor does not protect the awning against strong gusts of wind. Keep the awning closed if
there is a risk of such meteorological event.

Potentiometer
Sensivity threshold is adjustable by setting the potentiometer
between 1 and 9 (Basic factory setting = 4):
• 0 = Inactive mode: Red LED lights up. Select the wind
thresholds before closing the sensor housing
• 1 = The awning only needs to move slightly to retract
• 9 = The awning must vibrate strongly before retracting

Programming button. Functions:
• Pairing the motion sensor (see 2.)
• Moving the awning (sequencial fashion):
- Press and hold. After a while the motor moves the awning
- Press and hold to reverse direction
• Press and release: the QCMSZ goes in sleeping mode for 90 seconds
The green LED blinks during the the sleeping mode period. It prevents
the awning from being retracted while the housing is reassembled on the
mounting plate by the 2 screws (see 3.)

Warnings
To prevent damaging the sensor:
- Avoid impacts
- Do not drop it
- Do not submerge it.
Powerful local transmitting equipment (e.g. cordless headphones)
with a transmission frequency identical to the sensor can affect its
function
