MAINTENANCE & DAILY CARE
Caution:
Always be sure that the tool is switched off and unplugging before attempting
to perform inspection and maintenance.
1. The tool and its air vents have to be kept clean, regularly clean the tool's
air vents or whenever the vents start to become obstructed.
2. Check the screws have not become lose, tighten periodically.
3. Check the power cord insulation for cracks, or breakage.

Caution:
After replacing the carbon brushes, plug in the tool and break in brushes by
running the tool with no load for about 10 minutes. Then check the tool while
running, when releasing the switch trigger. If the tool is not working well, re-
quest a repair from your retailer or service agent.
To maintain product safety and reliability, repairs any other maintenance work
should be completed by an authorized repair agent.

1. Loosen the screws and remove the
base protector. Place the template
guide on the base and replace the
base protector. Then secure the base
protector by tightening the screws.
2. Secure the template to the work-
piece. Place the tool on the template
and move the tool with the template
guide sliding along the side of the
template.
1. Remove and check the carbon
brushes when required. Replace when
the tool produces obvious sparks or
wear down to the limit mark.
2. Both carbon brushes should be
replaced at the same time. Only use
carbon brushed provided.
3. Use a screw driver to remove the
brush holder caps. Take out the worn
carbon brushes, insert the new ones and
secure the brush holder caps (Fig. 10).
