7) Use the power tool, accessories, etc. according to these
instructions, taking into account the working conditions
and the work to be done. Use of the power tool for opera-
tions other than those intended could result in a hazardous
situation.
5 Use and Care of Battery Power Tool
1) Make sure the switch is off before inserting the battery.
Inserting the battery into the tools that have the switch on
causes accidents.
2) Recharge only with the charger specified by the manu-
facturer. A charger that is not suitable for a type of battery
may create a risk of fire.
3) Use power tools only with specifically designated bat-
teries. Use of any other battery may create a risk of injury
and fire.
4) When the battery is not in use, keep it away from other
metal objects such as paper, paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws or other small metal objects, which can be con-
nected from one terminal to another. Short-circuiting the
battery terminals may cause burns or fire.
5) Under abusive conditions, the battery may leak fluid;
avoid contact. If the liquid comes in contact with your eyes,
seek additional medical help. Liquid injected into the bat-
tery may cause irritation or dangerous burns and garves.

only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that sa-
fety is maintained.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES
WARNING
1. Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces
when performing an operation where the cut-
ting tool may contact hidden wiring. Contact with a "live"
wire will also make exposed metal parts of the tool "live"
and shock the operator.
2. Keep hands clear of moving parts.
3. Do not touch moving parts, allow the power tool acces-
sories (for example bits) to cool before touching them .They
can become extremely hot during use and can burn your
skin.
4. Always wear protective safety glasses when operating
power tools. Wear a face mask when environment is dusty.
PROBLEM SOLUTION
1. I CANNOT FIT THE BATTERY INTO
THE BATTERY CHARGER. WHY?
The battery can be inserted into the charger only in one
direction. Turn the battery around until it can be inserted
into the slot.
2. REASONS FOR DIFFERENT BATTER PACK
WORKING TIMES.
Charging time issues, as above, and having not used a
battery pack for a porlonged time will reduce the wor-
king life of the battery pack. This can be corrected after
several charge and discharge operations by charging &
working with your drill. Heavy working conditions such as
large screws into than lighter working conditions. Do not
re-charge your battery pack below 0ºand above 50º as this
will affect performance.
3. HOT BATTERY PACK PROTECTION.
The normal charging temperature is between 0º and 50º.
When the battery pack is too hot, it automatically starts a
HOT battery pack delay, and suspends charging until it has
reached the correct temperature. The charging process will
then automatically begin.
4. BATTERY PACK OVERLOAD AND
LOW-VOLTAGE PROTECTION.
When max. allowable battery current is exceeded during
working, the overload protection is activated to protect
the battery against overheating. When the battery is under
normal voltage during working, the power tool will cease
to operate.
