Cleaning, Maintenance and
Storage
Protect the power cord against damage.
Keep the power cord away from heat (e.g.
furnace, heater or convector) because it
can cause damage to the insulation.
DOs!
Using a damaged power cord can cause a short
circuit (short-circuit fi re).
When assembling, disassembling, and cleaning
the device, turn it off and unplug the unit from
the electrical outlet by grasping the plug.
Do not break the power cord, do not place
heavy items on the cord, to avoid damage.
A damaged cord may cause electric shock.
A broken, damaged, worn, frayed or short-cir-
cuited power cord can cause an electrical fi re,
so do not use it!
Do not remove the mounting screws from the
DON'Ts!
housing. Do not reconstruct the device for other
purposes.
Do not leave the parts of the dismounted Colibri
head within reach of children. Children may
swallow the small parts.
Do not wash the housing or the power cord in
water or any other liquid. Do not handle the
power cord with wet hands. This may cause
electric shock or malfunction.

Make sure that all parts are dried thoroughly
before the next use.
Double-check that you have inserted the
collared tube into the Colibri head after
cleaning.
DOs!
Always unplug the device from the outlet
when not in use.
Unplug the power cord from the mains socket
only by grasping the plug.
To prevent damage, the connecting unit should
not be exposed to heat.
DON'Ts! Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight
or heat.
