Recommended position
• Be sure to check the installation position of film aerial A before installing. Film aerial cannot be re-pasted.
• Keep a minimum distance of 100 mm from the other aerials.
*1 W here the earth sheet can be pasted on the metal part of the front pillar.
*2 D o not paste the booster on the ceramic line (black part) around the windscreen because there is not enough
adhesion.
The following procedures are mainly for installing on the right side:

Clean the windscreen with the cleaner D
provided.

• Wait until the surface of the windscreen is completely
dry before proceeding.
• Warm the surface of the windscreen with the
defroster if it is cold, such as during winter.

Remove the Sheet I horizontally and
paste the film aerial on the windscreen.

• Do not touch the sticky surface.

Remove the Sheet II vertically and
paste the film aerial on the windscreen
slowly.

Rub the film aerial gently onto the
windscreen to allow it to stick firmly.

Remove the Sheet III.

• Do not touch the lead terminal.

Align the protrusion of the booster with the ∞ mark on the film
aerial A so that the lead contact of the booster (metal part) is in
contact with the lead terminal of the film aerial.
• Do not touch the lead contact or the sticky surface of the adhesive tape on the
booster.

Paste the earth sheet onto the metal part of the front pillar.
(Pasting onto the painted metal part is also acceptable.)

Connect the cable to the DAB aerial input on the rear panel of the
unit. (➜ 2)

Secure the cable to the pillar at several locations using the cable
clampers C.

Attach the front pillar cover back to its original position.

• Ensure that the front pillar cover does not damage the earth sheet and booster.

Check that the DAB aerial power is set to "ON".
