Cut the food into "cubes", place them inside the hopper and then lower the lever (Fig. 7).
To start the appliance, it is necessary to move the starter lever to the side (left or right) to release it
and then to press it (Fig. 8). This will start the appliance (Fig. 9).
After use, release the lever, which will automatically return to the central locked position.
GRATÌ also provides a practical plug to keep unutilised food inside the hopper and roller; the plug
also protects the food from dirt or dust (Fig. 0).
removIng/ FIttIng Hopper And externAL proteCtIon
To remove the hopper turn off the motor and rotate the indented ring counter clockwise by about
/4, and remove the roller (Fig. ). Then lift the lever (Fig. ) . Draw the hopper outwards as shown
in Fig. 3.
Separate the hopper from the external protection by pulling it slightly (Fig. 4).
To reassemble the hopper align the three grooves with the three hooks on the external protection;
then press slightly until it clicks (Fig. 5). Lastly place the fitted unit into the appliance body housing
and press slightly until it has been completely fit and it clicks (Fig. 6).

To remove the press pull it out of its housing with strength (Fig. 7).
To reassemble the press it must be set into its housing and press with strength taking care that the
tongue matches the provided slot on the lever (Fig. 8).

To fit the crank, take the crank plug off by pulling it outwards with strength (Fig. 9); apply the crank
by pressing slightly (Fig. 0).
Gratì can now be used manually by rotating the crank clockwise as shown (Fig. ).
WArnIng: when the crank is inserted, it is not possible to use the appliance with battery power.
Therefore, to start the motor and extract the roller, you must first remove the crank and re-insert
the side plug.
