Valve Body
Install the New Valve
Insert the new valve into the valve body.
Align the pin on the bottom of the valve with the hole in the valve body.
Align the slot in the valve with the raised slot in the valve adapter.
Install the nut. Using a wrench, snug the nut just past hand-tight. Do not
overtighten.
Make sure the valve stem is turned to full counterclockwise position.
Assemble the spline adapter to the valve spline.
With the handle in the "OFF" position, line up the notch on the valve
adapter to the notch on the side spray assembly and slide together. Do
not force together.
NOTE: If the valve adapter and the side spray assembly do not slide
together, remove the spline adapter and rotate the spline adapter the
distance of one spline. Continue to do this until the valve body and the side
spray assembly slide together with the handle still in the "OFF" position.
Fasten the valve body to the side spray assembly with the two nylon
thumb screws. Hand tighten until snug. Do not overtighten.
Turn on the water supplies and check for leaks.
If leakage occurs, carefully tighten the valve nut until the leakage stops.
