2. Operating safety
CAUTION! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the
warnings and instructions may result in serious injury or death.

2.1. Workplace safety

If in doubt as to whether the product is working properly or is found to be
damaged, contact the manufacturer's technical service.
b)
Repairs to the appliance may only be carried out by the manufacturer's service.
Do not attempt to repair the product on your own!
c)
Keep this manual for future reference. If the product is to be handed over to a
third party, hand it over with this user manual.
d)
Keep packaging components and small installation parts out of the reach of
children.
2.2. Safe use of the product
a)
Clean the appliance regularly to prevent permanent deposits of dirt.
b)
Always make sure that the nozzle is properly installed in the appliance and the
hose is properly attached and free of damage before use.
c)
Never attempt to tamper with the appliance to change its parameters or
structure.
d)
Keep the appliance away from sources of fire and heat.
e)
The manual membrane pumps are intended only for removal of bilge water.
They are not for emergency use to remove water overboard during extreme
weather with flooding below deck, hull breach, and/or other hazards during
the voyage.
f)
Routinely inspect the suction hose for heavy dirt and clean it as required.
g)
When installing the pump in the bilge and installing the suction and discharge
hoses, avoid kinks and keep the maximum possible bending radii.

Do not install a check valve in any hose.
