Hanging the fixture on the ceiling
Install the ceiling mounting bracket (A) on the outlet box by

using the washer (BB) and the mounting screws (AA) provided
with the outlet box.
Put the hanger ball (J) through the open side of the ceiling

mounting bracket (A), and then insert the hanger ball (J) to the
slot cut off in the ceiling mounting bracket (A).

Set remote control code
CODE SWITCH: Codes are set by pushing dip switches up or

down. It is imperative that the code used for both
transmitter and receiver is exactly the same, otherwise
remote controller will not work. Please note the code switch
will enable you to operate a second remote controller
independently. For example, if you have two ceiling fans
with 2 remote control units, set 2 different codes for each
set of transmitter/receivers. This means you can operate
each ceiling fan independently.
Your remote control is ready for use after battery

installation.

Making the electrical connection
WARNING: To avoid possible electrical shock, be
sure electricity is turned off at the main
fuse/breaker box before wiring.
The fan comes with 36 in. lead wires for use with an extended

ball/ downrod assembly. If using the 6 in. ball/downrod
assembly (B) provided, you can cut the lead wires to your
desired length (no shorter than 12 in.). This will make extra
room in the canopy (C). If you do not wish to cut the wires, you
will need to neatly wrap them.
Connect the fan motor blue wires to the receiver blue using a

wire nut, the fan motor white wires to the receiver white wire
using a wire nut, and the fan motor black wires to the receiver
black wire using a wire nut.
Connect the receiver white wires to the outlet box white wire

using a wire nut , receiver black wires to the outlet box black
wire using a wire nut.
Connect two fan motor ground wires to the outlet box ground

wires using a wire nut.
Secure each wire connecting nut using electrical tape.

Turn the wire connecting nut upward and push the wiring into

the outlet box.
