3. Put the handle on the pin in the upper part of the cutter. Align the holes in the
pin with the holes in the handle, guide a bolt though and screw the handle in.
3.3. Working with the device
1. Put a workpiece on the working plate.
2. Set the cutting angle using the cutting angle pointer. MSW-LFC19HD: Align the
side of the workpiece with a required marking graved on the working plate.
3. (Does not concern MSW-LFC9PRO) Press the button on the end of the handle
to release a locking pin in the inside of the handle. Slide the extension tube in
or out, as required. After the lenght of the handle is set, lock the pin in the
handle by releasing the button.
4. Firmly hold the handle in one hand while releasing the blade locking screw
with the second hand.
5. Pulling the handle down (drawing it closer to the working plate) lowers the
blade. It is recommended to make fast down movements to ensure better
quality of the edges of the workpiece.
6. After work is finished, lift the blade (by lifting the handle) and lock it in that
position woth the blade locking screw. Remove shavings or dust from the
working plate with a dry wiper or brush. Set the blade in the possibly lower
position and lock the blade (recommended storage position).
3.4. Cleaning and maintaining
a)
Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
b)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture and direct exposure to
sunlight.
c)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its technical efficiency and
spot any damage.
a)
Use a dry wiper or brush to clean the device.
d)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning (e.g. a wire brush or a metal
spatula) because they may damage the surface material of the appliance.
e)
Do not clean the device with an acidic substance, agents of medical purposes,
thinners, fuel, oils or other chemical substances because it may damage the
device.
b)
After 500 cuts are made, it is recommended to grease the mechanism with
10W-30 oil. In order to do that, remove rubber covers from the posts on each
side of the device and pour some oil into; put the covers back after.
