14. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the
stand is placed is stable;

3. First time use
1- Inspect the iron carefully. Select the voltage. Check local supply voltage.
2- Select the voltage (120V or 230V) corresponding to suplly voltage in the
voltage selector by tools (e.g.screw driver)
3- Raise the iron handle.
4- Remove any protective film from the soleplate. Polish the soleplate lightly
with a clean soft to remove any residues.
5- Maintaning the nish of the iron´s soleplate is essential. Keep the soleplate
smooth: do not scratch it on metal objects (e.g. the edge of the ironing board,
buttons, zippers, etc...) as these may impair performance.
NOTE: Some parts have been lighly greased and the iron might smoke
