4 Using the instrument with PC via serial connection
The instrument is designed to be connected to an external control system such
as a Computer. The connection can be made via a wireless connection
(Bluetooth) or also by means of a special wiring harness.
As far as the connection via Bluetooth is concerned, the instrument must be
equipped with the special internal Bluetooth module.
When the instrument recognises a "call" from outside, the following "PC
Control" is shown on the display and, from this moment onwards, the
instrument will be used by the program on the Computer. To enable the
instrument to communicate externally with a computer, it must be on the main
menu page:

Official Procedure
To make it easier to read the values even when you are connected to a
Computer, and if you are making the measurement, the display will continue
showing the read gas values.
Once the communication is interrupted by the Computer, the instrument can be
reused "locally" only after pressing the ESC key.
CAUTION: if during communication any key is pressed on the instrument
keyboard, the communication between PC and instrument will be interrupted.
