Place the device on a heat-resistant surface! Do not place
any flammable objects near the device. Position the device in
such a way that the power supply plug can be reached at any
time. Make sure that the device's power supply corresponds
to the data on the rating plate!
The installation site must have adequate ventilation (e.g.
hood).
Before first use, disassemble all parts and wash them as well
as the whole device.
Fully unpack the device and remove the protective film
before first use. The packaging material may melt or catch
fire through contact with the hot device.
Assembly:
a)
Fit the handles using the screws and hex key.
b)
Place the drip tray on the device housing to prevent
dough from flowing out form between the heating
plates.
Potential equalisation connector
On the back of the device there is a potential equalisation
connector [10]. It is recommended to connect it to the
potential equalisation system before using the device. This
operation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
3.3. WORKING WITH THE DEVICE
CAUTION! It is not recommended to eat the first few
prepared waffles.
CAUTION: Before using the device for the first time, wash
and grease the heating plates thoroughly and then preheat
the device without dough.
While the device is heating up there a little smoke may
appear - this is perfectly normal. You should only take care
of proper ventilation. After a few minutes, turn off the device
and wait until it cools down, then grease the heating plates
- the device is ready for use.
1)
Make sure that the thermostat knob [9] is set to „MIN"
and the I/O switch [8] is set to „O".
2)
Connect the device to the power supply.
3)
Switch on the device by setting the I/O switch [8] to
the „I" position.
4)
Turn the thermostat knob [9] to select the desired
temperature. The heating control [7] will light up and
the device will start heating. The heating elements will
automatically maintain the set temperature using the
thermostat. The heating plates should remain closed
while the device is heating up.
5)
The device is equipped with a timer [6]. It serves only
for timing (max. 5 min) and it does not influence the
other part of the device (it does not switch off the
device or stop heating after the set time). To set the
timer, turn the timer knob to the desired value. When
the selected time has elapsed, the device will emit
a signal.
6)
When the device has reached the set temperature,
carefully open the upper heating plate by grasping
the handle [1] (grease the heating plates if necessary),
spread a suitable amount of the previously prepared
dough on the lower heating plate, close the device
and by turning the handle spread the dough over the
heating elements. The maximum angle by which the
closed heating plates can be rotated is 180°.
7)
To remove the ready waffles, place the heating plates
in the initial position and carefully open the device
(watch out for high temperature). Waffles should be
removed with a spatula made of wood or plastic. Do
not use sharp metal objects, so as not to damage the
coatings on the heating plates.
