f) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. a wire brush or metal spatula) for
cleaning, as these may damage the surface of the material from which the unit
is made.
g) When servicing equipment suspended from a balancer, coil the cable all the
way back to avoid sudden jerks of the cable due to sudden load changes.
Whenever possible, service equipment removed from the balancer.
h) Check the condition of the equipment for damage and/or wear and its
operation at least once a month.
