Safe use of the unit
a) Do not overload the unit. Use tools that are suitable for the application. A
correctly selected unit will do a better and safer job for which it was designed.
b) Keep unused equipment out of the reach of children and out of the reach of
anyone unfamiliar with the unit or this instruction manual. These units is
dangerous in the hands of inexperienced users.
c) Keep the unit in good working condition. Check before each use for general
damage or damage to moving parts (cracks in parts and components or any
other condition that may affect the safe operation of the unit). If damaged, have
the unit repaired before use.
d) Keep the unit out of the reach of children.
e) Repairs and maintenance should be carried out by qualified personnel using only
original spare parts. This will ensure the safety of use.
f) To ensure the designed operational integrity of the unit, do not remove factory-
installed covers or loosen screws.
g) When transporting or moving the unit from storage to the place of use, observe
the health and safety rules for manual handling applicable in the country where
the unit is used.
h) Do not move, shift, or rotate the machine while in operation.
i) Clean the unit regularly to prevent permanent dirt build-up.
j) Do not use the unit in a place exposed to strong magnetic fields, and adverse
weather conditions (sub-zero temperatures, lightning).
k) Do not use the unit to lift people.
l) Do not tamper with the unit to alter its performance or design.
m) Raise/lower components that conform to the specifications in the technical
data table. Do not exceed the permissible operating parameters.
n) Make sure that the unit is placed on a flat and stable surface.
o) Make sure that the unit will not slip due to its weight.
p) Make sure that the lift ramp is fully positioned under the lifted vehicle.
q) Make sure that the lifting unit is securely positioned so that it will not slip
during raising/lowering.
r) The unit is for lifting, not for supporting the load while working on the vehicle.
s) When using the lift, secure the lifted vehicle against falling using jack stands.
t) Secure the load with jack stands immediately after lifting is complete.
u) Lowering/lifting must be done in a slow, steady motion. Do not make sudden
movements.
v) Keep a close watch on raising/lowering of the load when using the lift.
w) The anti-tipping arm provides additional safety but does not eliminate the
need for jack stands.
