23 To prevent personal accidents or injuries and to avoid damaging the appliance always keep your
hands and cooking utensils away from rotating blades and rollers.
24 The blades of the rollers are extremely sharp and must be handled with precaution and always
by grasping their plastic part.
25 To prevent accidents never insert the rollers onto the base before fitting the hopper in place.
26 Make sure the hopper and the roller on its clutch have been correctly fitted as well as the con-
veyor and the shredding attachment before plugging in and starting up the appliance.
27 Never insert food by pushing it in by hand but always utilise the provided food presser.
28 Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
29 Do not leave the appliance unattended when connected to the mains power; disconnect it after
each use.
30 Never remove the roller when the appliance is in use.
31 Do not overfill the hopper; never insert more than one piece at a time.
32 To prevent the appliance from overheating RESPECT THE MAXIMUM CONTINUOUS USE
TIME OF 4 MINUTES; always halt the appliance and make sure it has cooled before restarting
if you must use it more than once at a time.
33 Do not use the appliance to chop overly hard food (such as ice cubes for instance).
34 This appliance must be used solely for chopping vegetables and/or fruit.
35 This appliance conforms to the 2006/95/EC and EMC2004/108/EEC directives.
