7.9. Operation with inverter/converter: the use of this electronic control and regulation equipment must be studied with the utmost
care to ensure that it does not generate electromagnetic disturbances or induced dispersed currents that decrease the safety
standard required by the ATEX classification of the area in which the equipment operates. In any case, the following conditions
must be respected:
- it is compulsory to use the inverter Danfoss VLT FC202
performance.
- it is mandatory to set the internal switching frequency of the inverter to no more than 4 kHz or to the minimum frequency
permitted by the inverter;
- it is compulsory to equip the inverter with the correct battery of filters, between inverter and the motor, for the reduction of [dv/dt];
- it is compulsory to use the inverter only in the modulation range 35 - 60 Hz.
7.10 The max. standard ambient temperature is 40°C; on request, after Caprari S.p.A. checks, a maximum ambient temperature up to
60°C may be accepted, and this temperature will be indicated on electric pump data plate.
