consumption. When the temperature in the room is too high, the refrigerator
temperature cannot reach the desired value.
t
emperature indiCator
To help you set your appliance correctly, the refrigerator is equipped
with a temperature indicator (located in the coldest zone and indicated
by the pictogram opposite).
•
For proper food storage in your refrigerator, especially in the coldest zone, make
sure that "OK" appears in the temperature indicator.
Incorrect setting
Correct setting
•
If "OK" does not appear, the average temperature of the zone is too high. Set the
thermostat to a higher position.
•
Whenever you change the thermostat, wait for the temperature inside the appliance to
stabilize before proceeding to a new setting if necessary. Only change the position of
the thermostat gradually and wait at least 12 hours before checking again and possibly
changing it.
Note: After loading the appliance with fresh food or after opening the door repeatedly (or
leaving it open for a prolonged period), it is normal if the word "OK" does not appear in the
temperature indicator; Wait at least 12 hours before readjusting the thermostat.
•
If the evaporator of the refrigerator compartment (back wall of the appliance)
becomes abnormally frost-covered (appliance with excessive load, high room
temperature, high thermostat setting, frequent door openings), gradually turn the
thermostat button back to a lower position until the compressor stops periodically
again. Indeed, the refrigerator compartment will only automatically defrost if the
compressor stops intermittently.
f
ood storage tips
Refer to the directions below for food storage.
•
Always pack products to prevent different foods from contaminating each other.
•
Wait for anything cooked to cool completely before storing it (for example: soup).
•
To ensure proper air circulation, never cover the shelf with paper or plastic sheets.
•
Store only fresh foods, cleaned and wrapped in appropriate food packaging or
containers.
•
Limit the number of door openings and, in any case, do not leave the door open for
too long to prevent the refrigerator temperature from increasing.
•
Arrange food so that air can always circulate freely around it.
