The SISSEL

SISSEL
Classic Plus are height-variable by an insert to adjust
the neck pillow individually optimal.
Intended use
· Use the SISSEL
®
neck pillow instead of your usual pillow for
sleeping. The pillow is designed especially for side sleepers,
but also for back sleepers.
· The special shape positions the cervical spine in an anato-
mically correct, physiological position and relieves the neck
muscles and intervertebral discs. In this way, the SISSEL
neck pillow makes a significant contribution to relaxing the
neck muscles and thus promoting deep, healthy, restful sleep.
· Lie on your side with your head on the SISSEL
so that the high side is against your shoulder and the cervi-
cal spine is supported by the pad. The SISSEL
correctly positioned when the high side fills the area where
the cervical spine meets the shoulder.
· When using the SISSEL
®
neck pillow, the new sleeping
position may initially cause a change in sleeping habits for
a few nights. As a rule, this adjustment lasts a fwe days.
Only in exceptional cases can it take longer.

· pain in the shoulder-neck area and the cervical spine
· tension in the neck muscles with accompanying tension
headaches
· arthrosis and/or intervertebral disc problems of the
cervical spine (consultation with specialist)
· therapeutic support for cervical spondylosis (consultation
with specialist)
· accompanying therapy for chronic instability syndrome
of the cervical spine (consultation with specialist)
· rehabilitation support for acute or chronic neck pain,
tension of the neck muscles and shoulder girdle
(consultation with specialist)
· prevention of tension and overstraining malpositions
through anatomically correct positioning of the cervical
spine during sleep
· avoidance of overloading the cervical spine through
physiological positioning of the head in the side position
during sleep
Contra Indication
· lack of compliance (due to fear or pain)
· acute injuries and/or sprains of the cervical spine
· acute cervical spine syndrome (cervical syndrome)
· acute cervical vertigo (dizziness)
· acute radiating pain
· discomfort
· movement disorders
· acute stroke
· acute herniated disc of the cervical spine
· acute inflammatory processes such as meningitis
and encephalitis
· acute or chronic nerve root inflammation of the
cervical spine
· spastic torticollis (spasmodic torticollis)
· neurological diseases or malformations
· tumour diseases
